Good Questions

FAQ

Do I need any experience to start?

None at all. Most of our members started as complete beginners. Our fundamentals classes are built specifically for first-timers.

What should I wear to my first class?

Athletic clothing without zippers or pockets — shorts and a t-shirt are perfect. We'll lend you a gi for your free trial.

Is jiu-jitsu safe?

When trained properly, yes. Beginners drill controlled techniques under direct coach supervision. You're never forced to spar before you're ready.

How old does my child have to be?

Our Tiny Grapplers program is for ages 6–10, and our Jr. Grapplers program is for ages 11–14. Both meet Tuesday through Friday. Reach out and we’ll find the right fit for your child.

Where are you located and is there parking?

We're at 3466 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Unit G, Norcross, GA 30092 — right on the Peachtree Corners line — with free on-site parking. You'll find a map in the contact section below.
